Todd's PlaceYou are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

Hello. Still not working, can't lift anything, I'm a wimp... I got an MRI today because I had some weird stuff going on with my neck, I find out about that tommorrow. I got a new pickup already. My insurance company screwed me on mine, but that's nothing new. On that subject, I'll share some wisdom with you.

Since I got my insurance license I have learned a few things. First, don't go with amer. family. They will low ball you every time. Second, carry high "Personal Injury Protection" limits if you live in Kansas. Third, getting information at the accident scene can literally cut 3-4 days out of the process. Fourth, if you have pain in your neck or back think long and hard before declining the ambulance ride. Most neck and back injuries will feel like they heal within a month or two, but have a likelihood of flaring up in 2-3 years if not treated aggressively right away. Physical therapy is a must.

Well, here is a picture of a pickup much like mine. Mine is a darker gray, otherwise looks very similar. That's all for now. Hope erveryone is doing well.

Oh, yeah... being engaged is awesome!!!!!!! I love my fiance`!!!!

Yeah, life is crazy. Thursday I successfully pulled of an awesome proposal to my girlfriend; and she said yes! It involved her 1st grade students, a whole bunch of roses, a gorgeous girl and a nice ring. It went surprisingly well, I've never seen 1st graders act so good.

Friday coming home from work everything changed. While turning onto the highway another vehicle blew the stoplight and hit me in the side very hard. So now I'm in lots of pain and my truck is totalled.

I'll post more when things settle down a bit.

Well, life sure is crazy huh? Last Tuesday a close brother passed away. Last Friday, a promotion. Life: bitter sweet. Today I looked at my friend and his wifes site and it really hurt. I'm really sad that this next summer we won't be able to go ride together. If riding motorcycle with him were the only pain... Pray for Megan, she's awesome. Pray for their families.

I did get the promotion I wanted. Effective January 14 I will be the manager of three departments; Appliances, Flooring and Kitchen and cabinet design. It's exciting because I will be the manager of three out of the top four core profit departments. My boss told me that he could see me being and Assistant Store Manager in about a years time. Wow, that was crazy to hear. After interviewing for it I was soon told that they were going to offer me the position, but they were having a bit of trouble putting together a respectable offer. Basically, the store manager can only give a 9.9% raise without District Manager approval. My boss wasn't going to let this stop him. So he called the District Manager himself and got me a good deal. So, after God's many blessing I am a department manager.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Well, it has been an extremely long time since I posted. Though, i have been reading other peoples postings....hmm. Well, I don't have much to say. I'm off work today and just hanging out. I'm really bummed, one of my close friends here in KC just passed away yesterday from a year and a half long battle with cancer.

To those who don't know, I'm working at Lowe's and loving it. I just applied for a managment position and was approved. Now I'm waiting for there offer to see if I'll accept it or not. That is whats new with me. Take care.

Greetings to all! It's been so long since I've updated I don't know if anyone will even notice that I have Anywho. Life is good. I still am getting use to not being in college. When you graduate debt smacks you in the face and  brings you into reality fast though. I'm at a new job now and should do better at this than selling cars. I'm still selling - advertising, not cars. It is an adjustment from cars. The sales methods are much different and the aggressiveness (sp? is that even a word) is different.

Other than work, life is good. Some of you know that I have been dating someone up here in KC. Well, she's a wonderful person and a great Christian woman so no worries. We met at the church we go to. A couple of weekends ago I had to meet ALL of her family. All of her relatives get together every year for opening weekend of hunting in Bethany Missouri. So yeah, I had to meet all her uncles... with guns.... That was also the first weekend I met her parents. I was a bit tense that weekend. But it went well and I spent thanksgiving with her immediate family and had a great time.

Well I better get to work. So I hope all is well with all of my TC commrades. Take care and God bless!!

p.s. this is a nice ride!! I have a lead on one of these for cheap this spring :):)
